- Optional: between the 2 treks, possibility of a 2 days retreat at Lodro Rabsal Rinpoche’s Marpa retreat center at Namo Buddha, with visit of Namo Buddha stupa (4hours walk, up and down) - ‘Yolmo’ also called “hidden valley” or Helambu, is a region of great importance in terms of its religious and cultural richness as well as its natural beauty. This trek offers the breathtaking sceneries of the Himalayas, terraced landscape, and ethnic cultural activities.

It preserves various species of birds, flora and fauna, including Ghoral, monkey, Himalayan black bear and others. The charm of the trekking in Helambu increases due to less traffic on the trail. Superb Sherpa and Tamang villages dominate the trekking route. A fabulous experience for everyone.

- Lapchi trek, the least visited remote area and exciting secreted corners of Nepal, situated at the border with Tibet, at 3’600 meters. Lapchi is a famous trekking and pilgrimage site for Buddhist, since it is where the famous Tibetan Yogi Milarepa lived for a long time in a cave.

Together with Mt Kailash and Mt Tsari, Lapchi is one of the three holy mountains ranges that is believed to be the holiest among mountains. The Lapchi Kang tour is not just for the Buddhist followers. The place offers an enviable trekking route in the high mountain region. There are plenty of pleasant sights and serenity to take in here. The art and architecture of the monasteries and caves, the scenes of surrounding mountains and other natural formations of this high alpine region is as much a Buddhist pilgrimage as a charming destination for travelers.

- Maratika Caves, also known locally as Haleshi, is near Khotan in the Eastern Nepali hills, at an altitude of approximately 1200 meters above sea level.

The sacred Caves of Maratika have long been an important pilgrimage destination for Dharma practitioners and Vajrayana Buddhists wishing to engage in long life practice.

The site itself consists of three hills on a ridge blessed and named accordingly by the Three Dharma Protectors of Refuge: Manjushree, Vajrapani and Avalokiteshvara.

The Avalokiteshvara Hill is the most important pilgrimage place at Maratika because it is where Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) and Lady Mandarava (His consort) achieved immortality. Around the cave are various Hindu shrines, mostly related to Lord Shiva. There are also various rock formations which are said to be gateways to various hells, pure lands and such. A large community of bats add a specific smell to this cave.

- Namo Buddha, one of the most holy pilgrimage sites in all of Nepal, also known to the Tibetans as Takmo Lujin (literally "giving the body to the tigress"), since according to the oral tradition and several sutras, this is the actual place where Mahasattva (one of Buddha Shakyamuni’s former incarnations), the youngest of the three sons of king Maharatha, gave his body as an act of complete selfless generosity. ‘One day as he and his two brothers were walking through the forest, they saw a tigress with the five cubs she had given birth to. She was so hungry she could hardly move. The three princes went away, but Mahasattva decided to go back and started to cut his flesh to give it to the tigress to eat. When his brothers went to look for him they found only his bones and hair’. The stupa was built on top of these remains. For the rest of us, this site is known as Namo Buddha ("Homage to the Buddha")
